32 year old Heather Heyer was honoured at a memorial service in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was killed when a car was deliberately driven into a crowd of counter demonstrators who were protesting against white supremacists and Neo-Nazis.
Heather was remembered for her compassion and standing up for what’s right. Her mom, Susan Bro delivered a defiant a message to the haters……..They tried to kill my child to shut her up. Well, guess what, you just magnified her.
Meantime, a Ku Klux Klan leader has said he’s happy a woman died while taking part in a protest against the white supremacists and warned the deadly violence was going to become more common.
