Single game tickets are now available for a prestigious hockey tournament coming to the greater Saint John area in November.
The World Under-17 Men’s Hockey Challenge will see three Team Canada squads — red, white and black — take on Russia, Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and the U.S. in a week-long tournament.
Spokesperson Aaron Kennedy told our newsroom these players will be under watchful eyes.
“There are a lot of scouts with the National Hockey League and even other junior teams that are looking more so at the European players that they will be able to pick up during the import draft,” stated Kennedy.

Kennedy said there will be a lot of economic spin-offs for the greater Saint John region and the area will get exposure with live broadcasts from TSN and RDS.
Single game tickets are available at either Harbour Station or the qPlex and the tournament runs from November 3 to 10.
