Yard Sales Now Allowed – With Restrictions

If you enjoy a good yard sale deal, this might be the news you have been waiting to hear.

New Brunswickers can now have yard sales as part of the “orange” phase of the province’s recovery plan.

But seeking out that new-to-you treasure will look quite a bit different than before the pandemic.

In a statement, the province says landowners must prevent gatherings of more than 10 people, including themselves.

Sales can only be done outside and homeowners are not allowed to let buyers into their homes for any reason.

Buyers and sellers are also required to wear a mask if they are unable to maintain a two-metre distance.
