Yoplait drinkable yogurts recalled because of plastic pieces

Yoplait Canada has recalled a slew of drinkable YOP yogurts because of the possibility of plastic pieces.

In a statement on its website, Yoplait says they are proactively issuing a “preventative recall” of all of the flavours with best before dates that range from October 21, 2025, to January 12, 2026.

The company says it is a voluntary recall due to a potential defect in the packaging.

“The health and wellbeing of Canadians is our top priority,” says Yoplait. “We are working closely with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency as well as our retail partners who have removed these products from store shelves.”

Yoplait says to not drink the 200 ml products that are affected but throw them out or return them to where they were purchased.
