The Shoebox Project sees care packages put together for women that may be spending Christmas in a shelter.
Saint John tech company T4G has been involved for a few years and they also do this on Mother’s Day.
Marta Cosman tells us the items in the box should have a value of $50 and include things like makeup, a brush, socks and chocolate.
She says the items should personal care items that someone who is in one of these situations wouldn’t be able to do for themselves.
In Saint John, donations can be dropped off until Monday at T4G on the West side and the Feel Good Store uptown.
