100 Men Who Care got out their chequebooks once again last night: this time, to help out Outflow Ministries.
The philanthropic group voted to fund Outflow after listening to a presentation by the ministry’s Jayme Hall, who described their work feeding the city’s poor, providing dental care to people who need it, and running a homeless shelter for a dozen men. Hall tells CHSJ News they started in 2007 and have been growing every since.
Hall says the $10,000 donation is pretty significant given their operating budget was $70,000 last year – and all of that money will stay in Saint John.
