14 Candidates For Leadership Of The Federal Conservative Party Seen As Good

As the Atlantic critic for the federal Conservatives, former Fundy-Royal M-P Rob Moore says he has to remain neutral in the current leadership race but does say while some people may see 14 candidates as too many and an indication of disarray, he argues it shows how healthy the party is.

Moore points out each of these candidates have to put up a significant amount of money to run so it’s obvious they’re serious about the task at hand.

He contrasts his party’s leadership race with what’s happening with the federal NDP where no one appears to want to replace Thomas Mulcair and the leadership is seen as a hot potato.
