This week’s Potash mine closure was a devastating blow to the entire region but the 3+ Corporation wants to help ensure that all 430 employees land on their feet in New Brunswick.
Interim CEO Michael McBride says they have reached out to Opportunities New Brunswick, and are meeting with them today.
“We are offering all of our support and want to play a role in terms of matching up the available individuals with potential partners that we have here in the Greater Moncton Area,” says McBride.
He says these employees are some of the most talented workers in the potash industry in Canada so they will be high quality employees for Moncton.
If they are able to match them up with potential opportunities here in Greater Moncton, they could still live in Sussex and commute to work each day.
