Man with ties to N.B. wanted for murder

An arrest warrant has been issued for an Ontario man with ties to several provinces, including New Brunswick.

Thirty-year-old Dharam Singh Dhaliwal is wanted for first-degree murder after a fatal shooting in Mississauga, Ont.

Twenty-one-year-old Pawanpreet Kaur of Brampton died of gunshot wounds in December last year.

Peel Regional Police say Dhaliwal intentionally went missing in September 2022 but an investigation has revealed it was part of a plan in the murder of Kaur.

Dhaliwal is described as a South Asian male, 5’8” tall, weighing 170 pounds, with a tattoo on his left hand.

He has connections in Ontario, New Brunswick, Winnipeg and British Columbia.

Police say he is considered armed and dangerous, and if spotted, you should not approach him. Instead, call the police immediately.

Two family members were arrested in Moncton on April 18th and charged with accessory to murder after the fact.

Information that may assist with this investigation should be reported to Peel Regional Police at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.
