The FIFA Women’s World Cup is starting up this weekend and defender Lauren Sesselmann says being in the tournament is a dream come true.
Sesselman battled back from a knee injury last year and says her head coach John Herdman has been a huge inspiration for her and her teammates.
She says losing to team USA in the olympics was tough, but it made the team better.
Canada opens the tournament with a game against China later today.
