Undercurrent News is reporting The Cooke family has signed an agreement to purchase Wanchese Fish Company in Virginia.
The Cooke family which owns Cooke Aquaculture will create a new company, Cooke Seafood USA Inc.
Wanchese is a harvester, distributor and processor with the ability to harvest 4,000 tons of seafood products each year.
It was founded in 1936 and is based out of Suffolk, Virginia.
