Police setting up in a perimeter in the South end after getting a call about a man yelling and waving around what looked like a shotgun off St. Andrews Street.
Sergeant Jay Henderson says officers then started a search and discovered a loaded sawed off shotgun and knife in a yard off St. James Street. No arrests have been made at this time.
Police also arresting a 20 year-old man on outsanding robberies and break and enters dating back to 2011.
He’s being charged with three armed robberies, one on November 8, 2011 at the Coldbrook Esso, another on November 13, 2011 at a home off of King Street East and yet another on November 14, 2011 at Little John’s Variety.
