Pellet Gun Seized, Man Arrested At McAllister Place

Saint John police say a man is facing charges after an incident at the McAllister Place mall.

Staff Sgt. Jim Fleming said they received reports of a man with a gun and people fighting on Thursday evening.

Fleming said an 18-year-old man was arrested and officers recovered a pellet gun at the scene.

He is expected to face charges including possession of a weapon, threats, and violating a court order.

Fleming said no one was hurt and it is believed those involved were known to one another.
