Too many drivers in Southern New Brunswick are passing school buses while the arm is extended and the red lights are flashing when school bus drivers are dropping off or picking up students.
Anglophone South Superintendent Zoe Watson says this a major concern for them adding they have been speaking to police about it.

We asked Anglophone South Superintendent Zoe Watson if any children have been struck after drivers ignored the flashing lights.
“This fall we did have four children who were hit. Some in parking lots, one on a crosswalk, one on a crosswalk during the evening going to a school event.” Watson said.
Watson is hoping a handout from Anglophone South with an image of bus and students walking along a tightrope will get the message out about school bus safety.
230 school bus drivers transport 18,000 students twice a day.
