Workshops On Renewable Energy

A series of workshops are taking place in the Saint John area this week to find out what residents know and think about renewable energy.

A two-year project is underway to help municipalities reach emission targets by enabling investment of local renewable energy projects and infrastructure.

It is part of a partnership between QUEST and the University of Guelph in Ontario.

The city says it will benefit from hands-on learning techniques, real-world case studies, and a customized mapping toolkit to assess opportunities for future projects.

The first workshop takes place at the Brundage Point River Centre in Grand Bay-Westfield from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday.

You can find the full list on the city’s website.
