Construction continues this week along sections of Highway 1 in the Saint John area.
Work will take place westbound between kilometre markers 132 and 129 in Saint John and eastbound near Exit 137 in Rothesay, according to a news release from Saint John police.
Paving is also taking place at the Exit 142 westbound on-ramp and eastbound off-ramp in Quispamsis, plus a small patch in the driving lane westbound.
Police said delays in the schedule can be expected with heavy rain in the forecast this week.
