Codiac RCMP have arrested a 34-year-old man for an attempted armed robbery.
Around 2:40 a.m. Saturday, Mounties responded to a call from Pub 1755 in Dieppe.
A man had entered the bar with a weapon and wearing a mask, and demanded money from the bartender.
Patrons then wrestled the man to the ground and held him until police arrived.
He was arrested and remains in custody. An investigation into the incident is continuing.
