A man has been arrested for an alleged assault in the North End on Sunday.
Around 2:30 a.m. Saint John Police were called to the 400 block of Main Street regarding an assault.
A short while later, a vehicle was pulled over on Wellesley Avenue in connection with the incident.
The driver was arrested for possession of drugs and the alleged assault.
The victim was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Major Crimes is currently investigating.
