Changes To On-Street Parking Rules

Several streets in the north, east and west areas of Saint John now have year-round alternate side parking.

The city said it is installing additional street signage to remind vehicle owners of the new rules.

Parking is allowed on the odd-numbered side of the street from the 1st to the 15th day of each month and on the even-numbered side of the street the rest of the month.

Officials said this will allow for better street cleaning, snow removal and street maintenance operations.

You can find a list of the streets on the city’s website.
