50-Unit Crescent Valley Development Moving Forward

Council passed a motion to allow for an area of Crescent Valley to be re-zoned for the purpose of constructing a 50-unit property in the north end neighborhood.

Previously, the site was zoned for use only by the Animal Rescue League, which opened in 1985.

Council has now rescinded those conditions, to allow for the new residential building’s construction.

The $5 million dollar development at 134 Taylor Avenue will feature mainly 2-bedroom units in multiple stacked buildings.

The next step in the process will see the developer seeking a building permit from the city.
