Weekend Fires Displace Four People

Four people have been displaced after a pair of weekend fires in southern New Brunswick.

The Canadian Red Cross says a fire destroyed a small bungalow on Johnson Lane near St. George on Saturday.

Volunteers are helping a woman and two children with emergency lodging, food and clothing.

They are also assisting a man from Carters Point with basic needs after a second blaze Sunday morning at a home along Route 845.

The Red Cross says nobody was injured in either blaze.
