Total product sales for NB Liquor up, Cannabis N.B. down

Second-quarter sales for NB Liquor and Cannabis NB for 2025/2026.

Total product sales were up 2.1 per cent for alcohol between June 30 and September 28, compared to the same period last year.

They totalled $157.7 million. The net income dipped 1.9 per cent, coming in at $57.2 million.

Sales of coolers and ciders rose 7.7 per cent, beer sales also increased 2.1 per cent, but spirit sales were down 1.1 per cent.

Total product sales for Cannabis NB decreased 0.4 per cent during the same quarter, to $26.8 million, compared to 2024.

The net income for Cannabis NB was also down, by $5.7 million, which is 16.3 per cent below the prior year’s second quarter.

Dried flower sales were down by 4.5 per cent, while the sales of edibles rose 7.3 per cent.
