January 24, 1947 – April 11, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of beloved wife and mother, Patricia Elizabeth Oliver (nee Walsh), known affectionately to all as Pat. Surrounded by the warmth and love of her immediate family, Pat passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 79.
Born on January 24, 1947, Pat was the daughter of the late Leo and Margaret (nee Bemish) Walsh. Throughout her 79 years, she touched many lives with her generous spirit and an unwavering capacity to love.
Pat was a woman who truly embraced life. She found her greatest happiness in the company of those she held dear. Whether it was quiet, reflective moments walking around the lake with her devoted husband, Charlie, of 48 years, or the infectious energy of a Zoomers shared with her friends. She had a zest for the outdoors, often found enjoying camping adventures or casting a line during a peaceful fishing trip. Those who knew her well will remember her vibrant spirit, perhaps as vivid as her favourite colour, red, which seemed to mirror her warmth and passion for the people in her life.
Pat leaves behind a beautiful legacy of kindness and deep devotion. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Oliver; her sons, Paul, Peter, and Christopher (Crystal ); her cherished grandchildren, Melissa, Jocelyne, Zachary, Aiden, Nathaniel, Logan, Spencer, and Gabriel; and her three precious great-granddaughters, Savannah, Cali, and Athena
.
She will be missed beyond measure by her family and the many friends who were fortunate enough to call her a companion. Though she is no longer with us, the lessons she taught us and the love she poured into our lives will remain in our hearts forever.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506 634 7424).
