October 11, 1954 ~ April 21, 2026 (age 71)
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our mother, Lesley Paterson, on April 21, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by family. Born on October 11, 1954, in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Helen and David Paterson.
Lesley was absolutely crazy for her kitties, Jackson and Valentino; her fur babies meant the world to her. Finally learning to enjoy life to its fullest, she cherished her time with her friend Juliet (Brian).
Lesley is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Smith and Kate Leitch (Jody); her granddaughters, Alycia Peabody (Alex) and Lindsay Worden (Braeden); and her great-grandchildren, Everett and Norah Sue. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Quinn (Tony), and her brother, David Paterson, along with several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Anne Paterson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). As per Lesley’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
