March 7, 1945 – April 23, 2026
The death of Bryan F. Martin occurred on April 23, 2026 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. He was surrounded by his loving family, and he kept us all laughing until the very end. Born in St. Therese, Quebec, on March 7, 1945, he was a son of the late Lorne and Dolores (Savaria) Martin.
Bryan is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 53 years, Carol (Mattsson); his sons, Robin (Christina Tieszer) and Wayne (Wendy Senior); granddaughter, Hannah Martin; grandson, Oliver Martin and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Lorne and Dolores Martin, he was predeceased by his brother, Franklin; sisters, Patricia (Al Toffi) and Carol (Hans Zehnder); daughter, Lori; in-laws, Eleanor and Alden Porter and niece, Kathryn Toffi.
He served in the Canadian Armed Forces (Army) for 32 years.
As per Bryan’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424).
In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Parkinson Canada or a charity of your choice.
