March 14, 1962 – May 4, 2026
With her family by her side, Lynn Margaret(Donnelly) Enman passed away peacefully at Bobby’s Hospice after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born on March 14, 1962, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frances (Mullin) and Paul Donnelly. Lynn spent her entire life on the West side of Saint John and was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish.
Lynn leaves behind her loving husband of 40 years, Danny Enman; her daughter Amy Elizabeth (Branden Jefferson); and her son Stephen Patrick (Gill Martin). Her sisters, Beth McCullough and Rosemary (Larry) Keating. Her sisters-in-law, Marsha (David deceased) Speight and Michele (David) White. Brother-in- laws: Dave (Sandra), Dennis (Tina), and Darrell. Several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She will be forever cherished by her beloved grandchildren, Peyton, Emma, Sonny, and Murphy, who were truly the light of her life. Whether it was sitting in the back seat between Peyton and Emma on any adventure, watching Sonny play with his monster trucks, or sharing quiet cuddles with Murphy, Lynn treasured every moment spent with them.
Lynn had a way of bringing joy wherever she went. Her laugh was truly infectious-if Lynn was laughing, the entire room was laughing. She filled every moment with warmth and happiness, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Whether it was camping trips to PEI with her children & friends, travelling to see family, cheering on her Toronto Maple Leafs, listening to Alanis Morissette, sitting in the sun with a good book, or spending evenings by the bonfire with her favourite next-door neighbour Ellen Marks, Lynn embraced the simple pleasures in life.
Lynn also held a special place in her heart for her close friends Kelly, Lana, Rinny, Kim, and her lifelong best friend, Margaret “Mugsy” Hardt from over the fence and SSIL Michele White.
In addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased by her mother-in-law Marion Enman; father-in-law Victor Enman; brother-in-law Doug Enman; and nephews Larry Keating and Matthew McCullough.
Lynn graduated from NBCC and began her long and dedicated career with Irving Oil in 1983. She started in data entry and went on to work as a quality coordinator at Irving Blending and Packaging until her retirement in 2020.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the physicians and nurses of the Oncology and Palliative Care Departments at the Saint John Regional Hospital, as well as the staff at Bobby’s Hospice, for their compassion and care—you made a very difficult time a little easier.
Arrangements are entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (506-634-1701) where visitation will be held on Monday from 3pm-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 12 Noon from Our Lady of the Assumption Church with interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations in Lynn’s memory made to Bobby’s Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society, or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
