It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald (Ron/Ronnie) Savoie on May 3rd, 2026. Born on July 28th, 1970. Ron was the late son of Gilbert & Marlene Savoie.
He is survived by his children, Lynn, Darilynn, Sonja, and Ryan. As well as his brother Aaron Savoie; and his half-siblings Charlene, Connie, Brenda, Brian, and Gary, along with extended family and many friends.
Ronald was known for his love of music and being handy, and his love for animals. He had a natural talent; all he needed was to hear a song once, and he could play it on his guitar and sing it with heart. He will be deeply missed for his humour and the moments of laughter and fun times he shared with those he loved.
Ronald faced lifelong struggles with addiction, a challenge that affected many aspects of his journey, but he was much more than that. In sharing this, the family hopes to raise awareness and encourage compassion for those facing similar battles. To anyone walking a similar path—there is hope, and you are not alone. Please consider reaching out and attending a meeting. Recovery is possible.
You are finally at peace, Dad.
We never did get to go fishing together, but we’ll carry you with us every time we cast a line.
Dad will be cremated, and no service will be held as per his wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Ridgewood Addiction Services in his memory.
