It is with profound sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Kimberly Ann Short of Saint John on May 16, 2026.
Kim was born February 15, 1965, and was the second eldest daughter to the late Glenn Short and Rosemarie (Cave) Short of Saint John.
Kim was an employee of Directors Choice (Stericycle) for 24 years as a Collections Specialist .
She will be remembered for her sense of family. She enjoyed playing cards with her aunt Verna, scrap booking with her friend Holly and spending quality time with her nieces and nephews. Kim was also an avid bingo players where she enjoyed going to bingo in Browns Flats and Quispamsis.
Kim is survived by her mother Rosemarie (Cave) Short, her sisters Kathy Lawrence of Grand Bay and Kelly Short (Doug) of Tracyville, brother Kevin Short of Saint John. Nieces and nephews – Andrea and Andrew Lawrence, Nicholas Albert, Taylor, Sieherra, Chloe, Carter and Jax Short.
Kim was predeceased by her father Glenn Short and sister Carol Grace Short.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grand Bay Baptist Church. The funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM with a reception to follow at the Church.
