August 4, 1929 ~ May 6, 2026 (age 96)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Vincent J. Hebert on May 6, 2026, at the age of 96 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint Simon, New Brunswick on August4th, 1929, to the late Martin and Angelina (Landry) Hebert.
Vincent lived and worked in Saint John for most of his life. He was happiest out on the road, where he built lasting connections throughout the community. Vincent was a man who truly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and found great joy in the outdoors, especially on the water and in the woods. Spending time with family and friends was also very important to him.
Vincent is survived by his best friend and partner Jeanne (Richard) Hebert; children Vernon and Dianne; grandchildren Marc, Derek, Erin; six great grandchildren; brothers Gerald, Donatien (Marielle) and Jean Guy (Monique); sisters Anna and Evelyn; as well as many nieces and nephews;
Beside his parents Vincent is predeceased by his brother Romeo, Francis, Lucian, Celestin, Leonard, and his sister Zellie.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. (506)646-2424. A Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Fundy Funeral Home chapel at 2:00pm June 8th. Interment to take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery following the service. Donations in Vincent’s name can be made to the Charity of Donors Choice.
