Carole Graham

November 4, 1947 ~ May 23, 2026 (age 78)

With heavy hearts and incredible sadness, the family of Carole Frances Graham announce her sudden passing on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Born in Saint John, NB on November 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Francis (“Frank”) and Mary Elizabeth (Currie) Coughlan.

She grew up in Saint John and graduated from St. Vincent’s High School in 1965. She then attended St. Thomas University, where she graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to work for over 30 years as a social worker for the Province of New Brunswick. Throughout her career, she helped many children find their forever homes. She also made many lasting friendships that continued long after her retirement.

She was an amazing daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend, but her most important role — and the one she cherished most — was being a mother and grandmother. Mom was the rock of our family. She instilled in her four children the importance of family and how to always be there for one another. She was constantly supporting us, cheering us on, and lifting us up. Her grandchildren and great-grandchild were her greatest gifts.

She is survived by her four loving children: Timothy (Krista) Graham, Scott Graham(April Buchanan), Jill (Philip) Beckwith, and Janelle (Marc) Blanchard; her five grandchildren, whom she adored: Corey Graham, Jersey Graham, Isabelle Graham, Amelia Blanchard, and Jack Blanchard; her great-grandson, Weston Graham; her sisters, Suzanne (Joseph) McKenna and Joan (Philip) McGarvey; her brother, Arthur (Lynne) Coughlan; her brother-in-law, Michael Cummings; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Coughlan and Joanne Coughlan; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her infant sister Mary Joan Coughlan and her siblings, Richard Coughlan, Thomas Coughlan, and Mary Elizabeth (“Betty”) Cummings and her dear friend Linda Losier.

We will love and cherish you forever, Mom/Nanny. You are our favorite person in all the land.
