Major Crime Searching For Man, 26, After Wright Street Stabbing

A 26-year-old man is being sought by Saint John police’s Major Crime unit after a stabbing this weekend.

Officers responded just before 7pm on Friday to a call of a fight in an apartment building on Wright Street and found a 25-year-old man had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital with injuries that aren’t life threatening.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested and released with documents requiring her to go to court at to answer to the charge of assault.

The 26-year-old man police are looking for was identified as a suspect in the incident.
