The federal government’s latest budget is not something to be over the moon about according to the Saint John Chamber.
The Chamber’s Dean Mullin says he really doesn’t see this a job creating budget at least not in our region.
“It’s hard to say but I don’t think there’s anything in this budget that’s going to say ‘here we go, there’s a great step up for southwestern New Brunswick or for New Brunswick in general. It depends on the details that come out,” says Mullin.
Mullin says the different tax changes they have made are going to make it more expensive for businesses to operate.
