Diesel and Handler Help In Weekend Arrest

Diesel the dog and his handler were a big part of an arrest over the weekend.

At 11 pm on Saturday night, officers noticed a man in a vehicle wanted for breaking conditions imposed by a judge.

The officers tried to stop him but the driver refused and after a short chase, the man ditched the vehicle on Exmouth street and took off.

Service dog Diesel and his handler responded minutes later tracking the man to Richmond Street where he was hiding under some bushes.

A 31-year-old man is facing a few charges including flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
