Some No Name brand chicken burgers are being recalled by Loblaw Companies Limited over possible salmonella contamination.
The recall affects one-kilogram packages with a best before date of Feb. 6, 2019.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the recall was triggered by an investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak.
Nearly 60 cases of salmonella linked to poultry exposure have been reported in eight provinces and 10 people have been hospitalized.
Some of those people reported eating No Name brand chicken burgers before getting sick, and a food sample tested positive for salmonella.

Officials say the risk to Canadians is low and illnesses can be avoided if safe food-handling, preparation and cooking practices are followed.
