Our wild weather day continues.
A severe thunderstorm watch in effect is in place for Sussex, the KV, Kings County, Saint John and county, Grand Manan, Moncton and Fundy National Park.
A thunderstorm early this morning blew through the region causing instant flooding.
Some commuters took a really long time getting to work because visibility was so poor in the heavy rain.
A home in East Saint John was hit by lightning and a few vehicles were stranded in high water at Haymarket Square.
Several roads closed because of flooding have re-opened but the City cautions they may have to be closed again.
