It’s a dream come true for 3 year old Shawn Dube and his family.
A playground is being constructed this week in the backyard of his Quispamsis home.
It’s the result of a wish granted by the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Kelly Hare of Children’s Wish tells us Shawn was diagnosed with a stage 3 neuroblastoma, a tumour in his belly, as an infant.
She says his backyard was nothing but grass and he worked with his mom on what he wanted included and Children’s wish purchased them.
The work began with clearing the grass and construction of the playground started on Tuesday.
Staff from the Saint John Marina are donating time and money to build the playground.
