A Canadian rock legend is gone.
Kenny Shields, frontman for “Streetheart,” passed away early today in a Winnipeg hospital.
Shields had been hospitalized most of July with heart problems.
Bandmate Jeff Neil announced Shields death on the bands official Facebook Page.
The band was working through a Cross-Canada Tour that was to have been their last and had just released a collector’s vinyl album.
