The Saint John Sea Dogs search for a new head coach is underway.
President & General Manager Trevor Georgie says they’ll be looking for a progressive coach who really focuses on development because the team will be a lot younger next year.
Georgie says since the announcement of Danny Flynn stepping down as head coach, his inbox has been flooded with applications.
He says there’s plenty of great hockey people out there across the country, the continent and the world who would be thrilled at the opportunity to coach a team like the Saint John Sea Dogs.
There is no set timeline in terms of when the new head coach will be announced.
Thank you to Danny Flynn for two great seasons with the @SJSeaDogs! We wish him the very best in the next stage of his career.
