In the Majors, Steve Pearce hit his second game ending grand slam homer in just four days as the Toronto Blue Jays pulled off their biggest ninth-inning comeback in team history by scoring seven runs to edge the Los Angeles Angels 11-10…..Kansas City rallied with four runs in the 8th inning for a 5-3 win over the Boston Red Sox but the New York Yankees failed to take advantage, losing 5-3 to Tampa Bay. The Yankees lead the Red Sox in the American League East by half a game.

At the Canada Summer Games, New Brunswick lost to P-E-I, 9-2 in baseball……In Women’s Basketball, it was New Brunswick over B-C 75-63 and in men’s play, New Brunswick beat the Yukon 122-45…..In men’s softball, New Brunswick lost to Ontario 19-0 and 6-1 to P-E-I.
