In the Majors, The Yankees beat Detroit 7-3 as Aaron Judge hit his 34th homer……The Red Sox kept pace with a 6-2 win over Cleveland as rookie Rafael Devers went 4 for 4 and drove in a run….The Chicago White Sox scored 6 runs in the last two innings for a 7-6 win over the Toronto Blue Jays who earlier traded starting pitcher Francisco Liriano to Houston. A sworn statement by an unidentified woman, contained in a court motion filed in connection with a defamation lawsuit, alleges Pete Rose had a sexual relationship with her for several years in the 1970s that began before she turned 16. Rose is Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader who was banned from the game for life in 1989 after an investigation concluded he had bet on baseball.
