A sworn statement by an unidentified woman, contained in a court motion filed in connection with a defamation lawsuit, alleges Pete Rose had a sexual relationship with her for several years in the 1970s that began before she turned 16. Rose is Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader who was banned from the game for life in 1989 after an investigation concluded he had bet on baseball.
