Teen Pleads Guilty For ATV Theft, Leading Police In A False Investigation

A 16 year old youth has pleaded guilty to the theft of an ATV and leading police in a false investigation.

The teen, who can’t be named because of his age, has been remanded into custody until August 23rd when he returns to court.

Police aren’t ruling out further charges.

A 17 year old youth who was injured in an ATV accident related to the incident remains in serious condition in hospital. That’s why police converged on the area where Highway 7 meets Highway 1 Thursday morning.
