A State Farm Canada survey reveals most of us, 94 per cent, believe we should speak to our senior loved one about giving up their license if they have safety concerns.
John Bordignon of State Farm Canada says over 3500 Canadians took part in the survey back in March, and because of the survey they thought it was a good time to talk about seniors and driving.
The survey also finds that 26 per cent of Canadians would like to keep their driver’s license past the age of 85.
More than 50 per cent of Canadians expect to drive past the age of 80.
Some provinces require seniors to be re-tested after a certain age.
Alberta requires drivers over the age of 75 to have a medical test.
