Mayor Grace Losier says they are thrilled with the positive response from the community.
She says they had a soft opening to make sure everything was working and since New Brunswick day it’s been packed.
Losier says they planned to put the splash pad in last year but the timing didn’t work so they were determined to get it finished this year.
The total cost of the splash pad is $375,000 and the province contributed more than $100,000.
Regional Development Corporation Minister Donald Arsenault says you can put a price on a kid’s smile and this is what it’s all about–with families coming out and enjoying a beautiful day with their kids.
