Level one heat alerts have been issued for certain parts of the province today.
St. Stephen, Fredericton, Oromocto, Southern York County, Queens County, and Sunbury County are all under level one heat alerts from the provincial Heat Alert and Response System.
A level one heat alert means that the humidex range is forecasted to be in the 35 to 39 degree range for one day and certain vulnerable people might be affected. The HARS system has three levels.
