It’s a dream come true for a local country artist in Charlotte County.
Tyler Deveau, who hails from St. George, NB, has won the “Kick It With Kissel” contest — The prize? A chance to be the opening act for country singer Brett Kissel during his two performances in New Brunswick next month while on the “Ice, Snow, and 30 Below” Tour.
Deveau was chosen by Invictus Entertainment, and Kissel himself, after entering the contest, which asks participants to record a video of themselves performing their favorite original, cover, or Kissel songs and post it to social media with the hashtag #kickitwithkissel.
Deveau is already making his mark on the music world, releasing his first single “Good Time To Be Us” in 2015. In 2016, he was named New Brunswick’s Country Artist of the Year by Music NB.
The concert dates for Deveau to erorm with Kissel are Februay 1st, 2017, at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton, and February 2nd, 2017, at the Fredericton Playhouse.
