Pets And Humans Are Suffering In The Houston Area

Pet parents can’t even imagine having to leave our furry children behind or to think of them being stranded in the massive flood waters ravaging Houston and other parts of Texas.

Animal rescue agencies and volunteers from all over the United States have descended on the Houston area to help rescue birds, cats, dogs, horses and more.

In seek and rescue operations held last (Tuesday) night, Major General James Whitham (WITH-UM) of the National Guard said his troops have already saved 300 pets and 8,500 people.
