A joint federal-provincial government investment will upgrade two segments of Highway 11 in eastern New Brunswick.
Work will start in the spring on twinning a section between the Shediac River and the Little Bouctouche River.
Further north, a bypass will be built around the Chatham area of Miramichi with a start date in 2018.
The province is committing $147 million while Ottawa will contribute $125 million.
Both Highway 11 segment upgrades should be finished by 2021.
