There were no injuries after a fire in an unoccupied two storey wooden building at 45 Bayside Drive. The cause is under investigation.
The fire department also responded to a collision on Rothesay Avenue at Rothesay Road between a car and a motorcycle. The motorcylist was taken to hospital with what are described as minor to moderate injuries.
Police also responded to a report of a man being stabbed in the north end.
