Two Convenience Stores Robbed Overnight On City’s East Side

The Saint John Police are investigating two robberies last night on the city’s east side.

Sergeant Chuck Elgee says the first robbery happened around 9:45pm at a convenience store on Bonita Avenue.

Eglee says about fifteen minutes later another robbery occurred at a convenience store on Hickey Road, which is a five minute drive from the first robbery.

The suspect is male.

The Major Crime Unit is currently investigating the robberies.
