A homeowner on Douglas Avenue never expected this. Police say 6 deer were crossing the road when one was struck and, in a panic, jumped through the front window of a home. Before police arrived, the deer managed to get out of the house and ran off.
Police are also investigating the theft of several items taken from cars parked on Dufferin Row, City Line and Westminister Court on the west side. Police are reminding people to not leave valuables in their parked cars and to lock them up.
